February Fun!

Here are just a few of the pictures that didn't quite require a post all on their own, but definitely needed to be shared!

Grandma celebrated her 75th birthday on February 21st!  We went to Outback and had good food and great desserts!

Fun with cameras!

It's good to be a girl and have pretty, matching toes

Note to self: Subway + picnic lunch = DISASTER

All the hard work paid off and this is my new bedroom in the basement

Finally...gotta work out a few "kinks" with Eleanor!

Tiny princess cousins

All tuckered out after playing at Aunt Tara's

February came and went in a flurry!  It was a great month all in all.  Grad school is going really well and I'm finding my balance.  Braces are good, I'm getting used to them finally!  I'm still working on weight loss, but what else is new around here??  Life is good, my friends, life is good...

Weekend of Cousin Lovin'

This weekend my parents took Eleanor and Jonah to see Aunt Kelly, Uncle Nick and Teddy in Cincinnati!  I, as always, had to work.  Check out my sister's blog for all the cousin fun!  Kelly said the kids played together just like we've always dreamed about!!  I'm so thankful that they had this great time with their Cinci family!

Eleanor- 3 years

Height- 35.75 inches
Weight- 27 lbs
BMI- 15
Blood Pressure- 84/64
Sleep- With mommy, night terrors
Activities-dance, puzzles, fishing, anything babies, playing in her kitchen

Eleanor has the gift of gab, that's for sure!  She loves to talk and speaks so well for her age.  She is a decent eater and getting better with meat.  Eleanor is my little sidekick.  She loves to give me hugs and kisses.  Throughout the day she will come up to me and give a little hug and say "I love you mama" or "you're the best mama I ever had."  Melt my heart!

I do believe I am the luckies mommy ever...although I am slightly biased!!

Look Who's Getting Crafty...

One of my mommy goals is to do more craft projects with the kids.  We've made a craft closet and I know Eleanor really enjoys making artsy things!  So, in spur of the moment fashion, I decided we'd make heart shaped crayons.  I realize Valentine's Day was last week but I love my babies everyday so hearts it was!

It was messy....

Jonah was uninterested, except for throwing our crayons on the floor...
And don't you do your crafts shirtless??  We do!

The colors in the mold...

They're melting, they're melting!!

All melted and ready to cool....

The final product...

Eleanor's picture of her creation...

We had a blast making Eleanor's "cupcake crayons" as she named them.  The first time we used the mold we used it to make our Valentine's cupcakes.  She won't even color with them!!  I'm looking forward to doing more crafty fun projects with my girls and little observer!

Disney On Ice: Mickey's Adventure

I came across these pictures in my iPhoto gallery and realized I never blogged about our FIRST time to see DOI!!  So, this will have to do since 2011 is currently being printed...  At least I found them and it is getting documented, late as it may be!

Stephanie and Heather invited us to see Disney On Ice: Mickey's Adventure.  It was a great girls day out!  Eleanor was fascinated by all the skating and dancing.  She was so excited to see Mickey and especially Ariel!  I love doing fun girly things with my little girly girl!

Watching Peter Pan Fllllyyyy!

The little girls, Taylor, Zoey, Eleanor and Kennady

Lilo & Stitch

The Little Mermaid

Eleanor and Kennady

On the way out, the girls got silly hats and Zoey got a sword!

Not sure why I didn't get a picture of Eleanor and I.  I usually do!  Oh well, we had a wonderful time.  We all packed in the car together and all the little girls fell asleep on the way home!
