What I want to be....

I want to be super-mom who can do it all. I will clean my home often, launder clothes and diapers, cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, I will work outside the home, I will blog beautifully and creatively, I will lose 20 pounds, I will put my husband/marriage first all with a smile and looking flawless....
This will not be me and I have to accept that. So I'm trying to change my "want" to a more realistic view. I want to be the best super-mom I can be. I will know my limits, I will use pampers if the diapers didn't get washed and not feel guilty, I will take some help from the prepared food section/take out menus and not worry about the calories, I will (maybe/hopefully) work one night a week and enjoy my brain, I will attempt to blog more frequently, eloquently written or not, I will put exercise before housework and ditch the scale, I will love my husband and realize this is a rough road at times, I will enjoy PJ/ponytail days, I will love myself more for who I and not who I think I should be...
In Eleanor news, she is going to be one year in 10 days and I'm teetering on the edge of crying and elation! My baby is a big girl but my big girl isn't my little swaddled newbie anymore. What a year it's been. I've learned so much about myself it's incredible! I haven't loved every day of it to be honest. But there isn't a day that goes by that I don't love my sassy, stubborn, gorgeous girl more. This is how far she's come:
A wrinkled, wobbly, lovely 1 day old to.....
a messy, curious, full of personality almost 1 year old!
I'm hoping for a better, more productive me in 2010....oh and a new baby too!!! So far I am doing ok. Just need that egg to fertilize :)
