A day at the May Family Farm

Before our trip to California, we went to my mom's friend's daughter's going away party.  Meredith is going to China for a year and her mom had the brilliant idea of having a party that encompassed all holidays and her birthday!  Love it :) Their family owns a farm and it is absolutely beautiful.  Eleanor made fast friends with all the kids, took her shoes off and had an absolute blast!  It was a wonderful afternoon and we were all sad to pack up and head home.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves on just how gorgeous God's creation actually is.

After the hayride it was time to hunt for Easter eggs!  Eleanor's first time and she did great.

Jonah was happy to chew on whatever toy was closet and hang out in the shade.

They have three lambs and two cows!

Next up, kite flying.  The weather was perfect and the kites soared high!

And finally, a little excavating in the sand!  

I am so proud of my little farm girl.  Eleanor went along with everything and had the best time doing it.  She isn't afraid to get dirty and isn't shy one bit.  This child loves people and playing!  It was a lovely day had by all.  Good luck to Meredith as she leaves her comfort zone and heads East!
